Parents worry about drugs. But few think it can happen to their children. If you are concerned that your child is using, trust your intuition and find out more. We can help provide information to help you stay calm, know how to react and what to do next.

Common Q&A’s

  • I think my child may be using drugs, what should I do?

  • Is it okay to search?

  • My child’s been cited/arrested for underage drinking, what will happen next?

Is Your Family Dealing with a Substance Abuse Issue?

Are you worried about your child’s alcohol or drug use? Do you feel like no one knows what you’re going through? The Parent Support Group meets regularly to help parents and grandparents of youth with substance abuse issues.

Attend a parent support group meeting facilitated by Jerry and Cathy Osterloh. Jerry and Cathy lost their son to an overdose and want to help others.

Groups meet every Monday from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Pine River-Backus Family Center located at 245 Barclay in Pine River. If you would like more information on the parent support group, please contact Kelly Felton at 587-4292 or Jerry Osterloh at 218-568-7351.
